The computing innovations provide both advantages and disadvantages. One of the advantages that it provides is efficiency and productivity. You can have access to knowledge that can help you complete a task given or to make it easier. It takes less time to do so because you don’t have to go find said information and rather just look it up. It can also help lead to creativity by being able to see what others have done. This can inspire companies and others to upgrade their design and come up with new ideas to make new inventions. To talk with others on different sides of the world about new ideas and to hear different opinions on how to improve something. There are also disadvantages that come with computing innovations, one being skill gaps. With the internet being able to do so much, it leads to people never learning those skills. It makes it so that people lose those skills and never care to learn them because they never need to. Then there are the high costs of having these innovations. Not everyone will have the money or resources to gain these things, leaving them at a disadvantage. Even if they do get it, they need to constantly spend more to upgrade the devices so it doesn’t get corrupted. There are also things that could be needed, like robotic surgery, but one could not afford it. The mean idea of technology was to benefit society and while it does, it also does the opposite. They did achieve the goal by making everything accessible to anyone on the internet, allowing AI to do things for them. This does help individuals, it also makes them never learn the skill themselves. Without technology, they would be helpless without. It makes people too reliant on the internet and it causes trouble for individuals when it's gone. An example would be kids using chat GPT to write their essays but when they have to write in class on paper, they can’t do it. The student never learned essay writing skills and without the internet, they can’t perform like they previously did.
